RHUBARB Soap

What is rhubarb? Rhubarb is a fruit/ vegetable that comes out in May and is in season for two months, approx. Rhubarb is an old plant, but is beautiful, delicious and sweet-sour. Its beautiful hot pink red stems are so summery, sweet, and the colour is great for soap. Haha.

I like Rhubarb to eat, but recently came across a great recipe to try, which I made my own. This soap consists of a red himalyan rhubarb powder infused in olive oil plus other great ingredients.

Rhubarb is full of so many amazing things. The fruit of rhubarb is full of vitamins K, A and C. On the skin, rhubarb is known for fighting free radicals and making the complexion healthy and more youthful-looking.

This rhubarb soap is made with saponified oils of rhubarb-infused olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter. An essential oil blend of orange peel, tangerine, grapefruit, cinnamon bark, vetiveria root, vanilla, as well as pure rose oil, in jojoba oil, were also used.
